We have been working with Andrew Ross from Seascape Caribbean to develop and manufacture the Horticultural Coral Ring Mount which helps restore living coral reefs. The mounts are attached to coral grown in the nursery. Over time the coral grows over the mounts and the mounts become part of the coral. The coral is then cut into sections to produce new colonies. Once the new colonies are large enough the coral is transferred to the new reef and secured in place by screwing the mount to the seabed. As the coral continues to grow it envelopes the mount and attaches itself firmly to the seabed.
