Emergency Stirrup

Our good friend John Claridge from John Claridge Boats came up with a brilliant design for an emergency boarding stirrup using one of our aero cleats (CL828-68). The idea is you hook it inside your boat so that it’s easily retrievable should you go overboard. Placing your foot in the stirrup and using it to boost yourself, you can then use the rope to pull yourself up even higher. It's great for solo sailing trips or perhaps when sailing with a child.
