It's fishing time!

This customer uses a Hobie Cat Kayak for fishing. He said “I don't usually use an anchor when I'm fishing in saltwater, but when I fish in freshwater occasionally, an anchor is very nice to have.”

There’s been a hiccup, “how do I tie the anchor off quickly and cleanly without drilling and installing a standard cleat?” He has already used some of our cleats and “it worked great” he added.

The next problem was that they were screwed into the hull, so were always there even when not needed. His idea was to add the HD track mount & screwed the CL215 onto it, attached to the existing gear track.

Finally “a clean removable solution, that you can quickly attach, secure and release your anchor line” he concluded.
With the CL215 the rope drops down into the teeth to give a quick and positive lock that’s easy to release. This cleat is ideal for holding rope in an outdoor environment, on small fishing rafts for instance.
