Tasar class allows Keeper

Following consultation and discussion, World Measurer Graham Hanna recommended that the original interpretation 34 banning Clamcleat® Keepers, issued February 14, 2006, should be withdrawn.

The World Council has approved a revised interpretation 34, issued by Graham, that allows the use of Clamcleat® Keepers. The earlier interpretation that did not allow use of Keepers has been withdrawn.

Clamcleat® Keepers are a plastic fitting which can be used with a Clamcleat® rope cleats to prevent lines from cleating accidentally, and from coming uncleated under no load.
