New speed sailing world record!

HISTORIC RUN ! Alexandre CAIZERGUES hits 50.57 knots ! New speed sailing world record ! 2008 Lüderitz Speed Challenge saw Sebastien Cattelan become the first person to sail faster than 50 knots (93kph) – a world record he held for only 24 hours before fellow countryman Alexandre Caizergues snatched it away from him, with not only one, but three runs over 50 knots, reaching a top speed of 50.57 knots (93.65kph). With more than 3 weeks of runs, and in a fantastic battle, Alex regained the speed record ! Backed by the whole team Alex kept his cool with patience and self-confidence. It took all the expertise of the "F.One R&D Team" to offer the perfect tools for Alex to better the 50 knots world record. With Christophe passing the 50 knots barrier and Charlotte passing the 45 knots barrier ! It has been a time of great success.
