To use the Stinger, simply stop the boat, uncleat the control rope from the Clamcleat® CL203 Junior, and lower the Stinger until the telescoping tip rests on the bottom under it’s own weight. The tip quickly stops and holds the boat precisely in position. It is incredibly easy with two fingers and a thumb. To raise the Stinger simply pull on the control rope and lock off on the CL203 before paddling to your next location.
When designing the Stinger, Golden Drake selected the Clamcleat® junior from among many alternatives evaluated, due to it quality and reliability.
