X-Booms uses our cleats

X-Booms is a Czech family business established in 2011. Their products are handcrafted booms "made from the best carbon fibre to provide top quality".

Using their own elliptic tubes allows maximum rigidity of the boom whilst delivering minimal weight. 

They use mostly natural cork grip for its superior feel while holding the boom, endurance and warmth during cold weather sailing.

For the first time the CL211 Mk2 is being used on a windsurfing boom to tension the outhaul. The fairlead guides the rope into the cleat, which can be fitted to all curved and flat surfaces. 

The CL211 Mk2 which has been cut down is also used on the tail of a wave boom.
