Clamcleat-CL818
The Clamcleat® CL818 Tapered Pad aids correct rope/cleating alignment. It can allow tensioning without rubbing the rope over the cleat teeth. Can be mounted either way round. Backplate provides under deck support when bolting through thin sections and is supplied with every pad.
One CL818 angles the cleat at 10 degrees. You can double stack to increase the angle to 20 degrees. Double stack the other way round to make a riser pad that lifts the cleat about15mm (5/8").
The CL818 Tapered Pad fits under CL203 Nylon Junior cleat,
CL211 Mk1, CL211 Mk1AN Aluminium Racing Junior cleats,
CL217 Mk1, CL217 Mk1AN Side entry Mk1 Racing Junior (Starboard) cleats,
CL218 Mk1, CL218 Mk1AN Side entry Mk1 Racing Junior (Port) cleats,
CL236, CL236AN Roller Fairlead Mk1 Racing Junior cleats,
CL704 and CL704AN Racing Junior Mk1 cleats with becket.
It can also be used with CL814 Keeper (for all Mk1 Juniors)
and CL816 Cage can also be used if required.

Ans: Clamcleat® make different sizes of tapered pads for all of its range of cleats. The tapered pad fits under the cleat (either way around) and aids rope alignment keeper.

Ans: Clamcleat® make a range of accessories for 3 sizes of fairlead cleat, CL268 and Mk2 range and the Mk1 range of cleats. The accessories are a tapered pad, Keeper (keeps the rope either in or out of the cleat) and the Cage (allows the rope to enter the cleat even if the lead angle is poor)
