Cleats on sun shade sails

Two international companies have chosen our cleats for their sunshades on boats.

Seasmart is an Italian company which designs and manufactures marine hardware and boating equipment such as sun awning system for yachts and super yachts. It's lightweight and quick to deploy.

The CL230 - used here - is ideal for bringing a rope through a surface (through-deck & through-mast applications).

The bottom roller allows ropes to enter the cleat from below.

The Blackstick® is made by an American company based in Florida. It fits into any fishing rod holder for fast shade on boats. The owner Nanette Hultgren decided to use the CL244 Aluminium Cleat Insert with Fairlead with the CL105 Boom clamp.

She went on to say: "The cleats have been working out wonderful. The best thing about them is that as there is no tooling involved with the carbon, we have a strong strut".

The CL244 has the advantage of not needing any holes to be drilled in the carbon fiber tube. The CL105 Clamp holds CL244 cleat tight onto the tube so it cannot move.
