New accessories for Clamcleats Limited’s rope cleats will provide better performance and greater capability for the company’s most popular products. The first accessories in the range are the Keeper and Tapered Mounting Pad, both of which are available in two sizes.
Clamcleats Limited‘s new CL263 Micros is a compact nylon cleat, with fairlead, that is ideal for holding small ropes and cords where high loads are not expected. It has been optimised for use on lines between 1 and 4mm in diameter.
The Clamcleat® CL257 Auto-Release Racing Mini cleat provides the neatest and best solution to the problem of how to lock-down a rudder blade yet allow it to flip-up if it hits the bottom or a solid obstacle in the water. The cleat holds ropes from 4mm to 6mm securely yet will release them immediately when the cleat is overloaded.
The Clamcleat® CL265 kitesurf bar cleat is a new cleat for tensioning kitesurf brake lines. The advantage of this cleat is that the bar can be locked off at any power level you require. It has been designed and developed in close co-operation with North Shore Inc of Hood River, USA.
The Cage, Clamcleats Limited’s latest accessory, allows ropes to be cleated and uncleated at an angle of up to 70 degrees, rather than only in line with the cleat. It is the latest in the range of accessories which further enhance the performance of the company’s most popular rope cleats.
