The 21-boat Nacra 17 fleet raced a nine-race series with one discard. Due to a lack of wind, no final series was held. John and Anna dominated from the start. The adjustable harness line CL289Kit/R features two wrap-around webbing straps: one with a tube-covered rope loop and another with an aluminium insert cleat for easy height adjustment. The design transfers the wing's load through your body core, reducing arm fatigue, whilst the cleat's position minimizes damage risk during wipe-outs. The cleat's moulded body ensures minimal weight with aluminium insert teeth to maximise load capacity and wear resistance. Designed for use with composite trapeze lines, the top section halo ring design allows for extra grip, so sailors with strong hands may not need the blue low-profile aerodynamic handle. Handles are available for sailors who require extra surface area to achieve a 2-finger grip for constant adjustment. The airflow across the side of the cleat when trapezing and the airflow across the back of the cleat on the leeward side are also very important and were critical parts of the design.
