How to use our cleats?

Auto-release cleat for Cadets club

Chris Pontet of the South Cerney Sailing Club sent us some pictures of their uses of the CL257 and CL211Mk2.
The fairlead of the CL211Mk2 guides the rope into the cleat, which can be fitted to all curved and flat surfaces.

The CL257 helps to "prevent their young sailing stars from grounding their rudders when they launch and recover the boats in difficult conditions", he said.

Then he went on to say: "The best option we have found is to use the CL257 Auto-Release Racing Mini which helps limit the damage and keep the boats in a sailable condition"

Footstrap adjustment on a Solo

Ben Miles has a Solo and contacted us for setting up his boom elastic.

The CL828-68 is a great option for the boom bungie adjusting the strap. The position of the cleat on the rope can be adjusted by hand. No tools are required.
