Laser/ILCA new toe strap adjuster option

By adding a PT5107 Titanium thimble into the adjuster rope between the toe strap and C828-68AN Aero cleat and reeving your system as shown in the above diagram you can double the tension load you can apply onto the toe strap adjuster system and improve the tensioning pull position when afloat. This is fully race legal as you are only using one piece of rope to tension the toe strap. This set up would be ideal for many other racing dinghies, please check your class rules. For more information on the Toe strap adjuster system please click on the CL828-68 link.

Restoration of living coral

We have been working with Andrew Ross from Seascape Caribbean to develop and manufacture the Horticultural Coral Ring Mount which helps restore living coral reefs. The mounts are attached to coral grown in the nursery. Over time the coral grows over the mounts and the mounts become part of the coral. The coral is then cut into sections to produce new colonies. Once the new colonies are large enough the coral is transferred to the new reef and secured in place by screwing the mount to the seabed. As the coral continues to grow it envelopes the mount and attaches itself firmly to the seabed. Helping Templewood Primary school to raise funds for SloCo

Students from Templewoods Primary school, which is local to our Welwyn Garden City HQ, recently reached out to us, as they are raising money for SloCo which is a UK based charity dedicated to Sloth Conservation in Costa Rica. As we have a manufacturing plant in Cartago, Costa Rica, Julian went along to a recent fund raising event to talk to them about his encounters with sloths in Costa Rica. The students have adopted 3 sloths; Bojangles, Mango and Nacho and we wish them good luck with the rest of their ambitious fundraising plans.
